The dermal filler most appropriate for you is eased into your skin using a fine needle or cannula. Depending on the improvement you are trying to achieve, the filler will be injected and different depths, from deep to superficial, along wrinkles and deep facial folds, or into hollowed-out areas of the face that have lost volume due to age. After receiving your dermal injections, you might experience mild redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising. These effects should resolve in less than seven days, with mild effects up to 14 days. Redness can be concealed using foundation or concealer. Most patients experience little or no downtime, so you can return to work and continue your daily activities.
