Titan is a skin-tightening laser system that uses a safe, infrared light to heat tissue in the dermis deep below the skin’s surface resulting in improved skin tone, quality and fitness. This skin “lifting” procedure is most commonly used on the cheeks, eyebrows, jawline, neck and abdomen. Titan is safe for use of all skin types and tones.
A series of 1 to 3 sessions is recommended for optimal stimulation of healthy collagen and general skin improvement. Although a single treatment has produced noticeable results for many patients, it is quite common for patients to have 2 or 3 treatments over a few months, and continue with a maintenance program of 2x per year.
During the procedure, the skin’s top surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. Immediately following the treatment, you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should dissipate within a few hours.
